8 Simple Steps to Starting Your Own eBusiness

I've condensed and simplified the steps required to start your own business on the Internet as much as possible in the following article.

Plan to spend time at each site/link below researching and learning more about the process.

Give it enough time, and it WILL start to look much easier!

1. Find a niche market. Pick a topic you know and are passionate about, then surf the web to find sites related to your interest. Pay particular attention to sites with excellent content and products. What products and services do they offer? Can you think of ways you would improve those sites? Take notes. 2. Buy a domain name. Select a dot.com that is relevant to site's topic and products. Keep it short, simple, and devoid of hyphens (if possible). I recommend GoDaddy. Park it there for freee. Go to:

3. Arrange web hosting. A web host is a server on which your site resides. I recommend HostRocket. They usually offer a freee hosting deal for the first two months after sign up.

4. Save time. Forget about learning web design for now and get a professional template or a full ecommerce package. After you become confident in your ability to generate revenue on the web, decide whether to do it yourself.

6. Do NOT overlook this step! It is essential! Build a list and write your own newsletter to keep in touch with your visitors. I use and recommend both the Aweber and the ProAutoResponder list and autoresponder services.

8. The fastest way to get visitors to your site, is to list
