Aweber Review 

Aweber is a remotely-hosted email autoresponder that automates the task of sending my follow-up and broadcast email messages. It also collects and manages my email lists, and if you get how important that is for internet marketing, you'll appreciate Aweber.

I personally use Aweber and wouldn't trust my email list to anyone else. One of the reasons I began using Aweber was because many of my colleagues were using it.

But just because someone else does something, doesn't mean it's right for me, my mom taught me well :-)

Here are the reasons that sold me:

• The Aweber reviews were all impressively positive. I read many compelling reviews, but I also noticed that more than half the email lists I subscribe to were using Aweber. That really says something about a product.

• Aweber has very high delivery rates because they maintain excellent relationships with numerous ISP's.
• The Aweber company is a professional dedicated email service. They're not just some fly by night company that has their fingers in lots of pies. They are dedicated to the service and industry of email marketing. They follow all the email CAN-SPAM rules and they've become a standard in the email autoresponder niche.

With Aweber I can have unlimited email lists at no additional cost to me.  For example, when a subscriber makes a purchase, I can automatically set it up so that they are automatically unsubscribed from one list, and
put on another.

That's huge when it comes to customers. How many times have you purchased something from someone and later on got another email promoting the product when you've already purchased it? That won't happen with Aweber.

I can send out unlimited follow-up messages, broadcast messages as well, again at no extra cost.

How Easy is Aweber?

Well first of all it's easy to set up. Email autoresponders can sound complicated with forms, databases, SPAM guards and all of the techie talk but Aweber has gone the extra mile to make it easy for the user.

I didn't know anything about how email worked at all when starting out but Aweber helped me get started by explaining things in terms I could understand and use.

There are wizards and step-by-step instructions for getting set up, creating lists and scheduling emails. From the time I subscribed to Aweber to the time I sent out my first email took e about 90 minutes.

Aweber is Hugely Reliable

This is important to me because I can't afford to send emails that end up in the SPAM bucket. That's just a waste of my time, money and effort.

Aweber advertises about a 98% email delivery rate. That's been true for me since I've been using their service, in fact I personally believe delivery rate for my emails is probably about 100%.

But how do they ensure delivery to all your subscribers?  They do a few things that make the difference:

• At the time you create your email it goes through a content filter which can tell if your email is likely to be considered as SPAM. If there are things that raise the SPAM flag, the content filter tells you so that you have a chance to correct it before you email goes out.

• They authenticate all email campaigns using domain keys and SPF. OK, I can't explain that one, all I know is that it works for keeping my emails out of the SPAM bucket and in my readers in boxes :-)

• You can create emails in both text and HTML format which is a nice feature but one thing that's helpful is that sending an email as a text message versus sending it in HTML reduces your chances of your email getting labeled as SPAM.

• Free 7/24 customer support.  I love the live chat that is provided 8AM-8PM ET Mon-Fri & 9AM-5PM Sat.

Cool Automatic Feature for your Newsletter

One of the features I use that I really love is the Newsletter RSS feed. I don't use this for all my lists but the ones I do use it for has make a tremendous difference in my sales. It's the 'feed your newsletters feature. This feature will automatically convert your blog posts into emails.

Whenever you create blog post you can set up Aweber to automatically create a email that goes to your subscriber list with a summary of your post. Within that email is a link to your blog post. All you have to do is supply Aweber with your RSS feed and they'll do the rest. Very cool.

What I don't like About Aweber

Aweber is completely affordable at $19.99 a month and for as much as I use the tool, that's a bargain, but the price goes up as your subscriber list grows, but that's actually true for all autoresponder services.

No one wants to pay more money but the truth is, the more your list grows the more money you'll typically make using email, so paying that little extra as your list expands is still a bargain or I wouldn't be using them.

• 0 - 500 subscribers is $19/mo.
• 501 - 2,500 subscribers is $29/mo.
• 2,501 - 5,000 subscribers is $49/mo.
• 5,001 - 10,000 subscribers is $69/mo.
• 10,001 -25,000 subscribers is $149/mo.

They also offer payment on a yearly basis which is something I prefer to do.
