Affiliate marketing requires no products to purchase or maintain.  Your job is to promote other merchants products and collect a commission.

Successful affiliate marketers build sites around their talents and interests creating content that will lure viewers to visit their site and return over and over again. The more content you can provide, the more interested your visitors will become and the more likely they are to take your advice with regard to products and purchases.

Once you've completed the Affiliate Masters Course, you can begin to think about finding tools to start your affiliate marketing business.

Start out by using a simple website creation software and develop a site that offers as much information about your topic as possible.  Don't focus on selling anything while building your website. Focus on an optimal website design and provide quality, key information that will interest your readers.

Next, you'll need to purchase a domain name (I use Godaddy as they're the easiest and most trusted).  Find a domain name that best describes your website or better yet contains your website's best keyword or keyword phrase.

Once your website is built, find a hosting company for your site.  Thirdsphere Hosting comes highly recommended among some of the most successful affiliate marketers, however,  there are many good hosting companies.  Spend a day or so investigating a good host.  Make sure you get recommendations.

Once your site is built and hosted, start investigating affiliate programs related to your topic. Don't bombard your site with ads and banners.  Your primary focus is information, not sales. The more quality, trusted information you provide, the more likely your viewers are to purchase your recommendations.

Once your site is completed, learn to use pay per click advertising with Google and Yahoo!.  These are great tools for helping affiliates draw traffic and make sales.
